Sang to a piccolo tune
Adapted and performed by Artemis Port, for her dear friend Rocky
A Sky Shanty
From Demali’s port, we set to the skies
And sailed nigh 10 days
In the biggest storm I’d ever seen
We almost lost our ways
When a call came from the Captain
Oh, they’ll never put me down!
And we did not fear
For rum was here
To drink until we drown!
HO!
What shall we do with a drunken sailor?
What shall we do with a drunken sailor?
What shall we do with a drunken sailor?
Early in the morning
The eye was atop a harrowing tower,
Sphere guardians blocked us through
We dealt with them handily
And hurried up for a view
When a gust of wind and crackling red
Stopped us in our tracks
But we didn’t back down
Nor did we drown
For the storm we put to rest
HO!
What shall we do with a drunken sailor?
What shall we do with a drunken sailor?
What shall we do with a drunken sailor?
Early in the morning
